We are selling our precious 1991 Airstream 34 ft Excella 1000 Classic to downsize to a smaller travel trailer. We are the second owners and have had it for 5+ years. It has been towed back and forth from NC to ME for the summers we have owned it. It is in very good condition for it’s age. The exterior has some beauty marks on each rear quarter panel (done by original owner), some nicks and dings and has some oxidation on the roof but seams are sealed and do not leak. Some blue paint pealing caused by aging. Interior is in very good condition: rug in bedroom and bath; parquet floor in gallery/living room was refinished this spring and the gaucho couch was removed for more comfortable seating (currently has a couple of older swivel recliners) a temporary lattice screen was installed over and around the unit electronics located there. There are twin beds in the bedroom and the dinette converts to a bed if needed. There is plenty of storage space in the cabinets and closets throughout.
The appliances include gas/electric refrigerator, microwave, 2 Maxfans, led lights inside and out and utilities are all working and in good condition. Three solar panels and 15,000btu AC. Furnace was replaced last year. 2 new batteries. New faucet in kitchen. The original 3 torsion axels were replaced with new 4000# torsion axels, shocks, breaks and bearings. This is a great rig to tow with at least a 3/4 ton tow vehicle. It’s maximum weight is now 12,000 lbs with the new axels. The weight empty is listed as 7100 lbs with an 800 lb tongue weight. The original stereo and speakers have been upgraded to an Alpine BT receiver. The unit has had pets in it but no smokers. You would need to see it to appreciate it. We head back to NC in mid Oct so come take a look before we take it home to NC.
