Rare & collectible: Basecamp s/n 054. Produced in the original run of less than 200 units, has the similarly rare Forest Green interior. It’s a uniquely classic Airstream that attracts curious admiration every where an adventure beckons. Designed to transport an ATV or motorcycle, and function as a comfortable sport camper for outdoor recreation like biking, kayaking, climbing, etc. in distinctive Airstream style.

After a couple summers of Black Hills fly fishing excursions it has enjoyed very little use over the last 10 years due to lifestyle changes which is the reason for selling. It needs a new home with someone who values the one of a kind styling 2007 Basecamps have. Restore or remodel, it is designed for hauling toys and backcountry recreational pursuits.

Overall it’s in good shape: Interior skin is pristine, exterior skin is nearly as good except for the small ding at the corner of the LPG Tank cover and a cut in the right door that I’ve been told a good metallurgical body shop can heal? A couple years back Shorewood RV/Airstream had quoted the new door skin: $328.17.
It has minimal superficial chassis rust on the underside but the floor has developed a few soft spots – as had been made public in AS of 2006-2010? era – that while camp-able, will sooner or later entail rolling back the rubber flooring to evaluate and repair.

Extras: When Airstream announced it being discontinued, I purchased a set of the OEM 20″ wheels with Goodyear Eagle GT tires, Kelty sweater closets, Kelty lounge luggage and contoured galley bins, stabilizer jacks, windshield adjuster bars, a pair of cast aluminum hinges, 20# horizontal LP tank, and a few odds and ends directly from Airstream they’re all new, and still in the shipping boxes and/or shrink wrapped on a pallet.

Weighing 2210 lbs it tows easily and swiftly. As shipped: 3000 lb Dexter Axle, 20″ Aluminum wheels with Goodyear P275/45R20 Eagle GT II tires, chassis is outfitted with the Nerf Bar, 1 piece fiberglass roof w/30″ Skylight and roof tubes, 10″ Electric Brakes, 20 Horizontal LP Tank with curbside LP Quick Connect, Whirlpool 5500 BTU A/C, a 4 amp 10 blade 3 spd/900 cfm MaxxFan in/out w/thermostat and tilt up vent cover, a 30 ft 30A power cord, 120V 35A Power Center w/600 Watt Converter, Battery Cutoff, Kelty gear poles and luggage set, One Burner Cooktop, 11″ SS Sink w/switched faucet, 2 – 3 gallon Freshwater Tanks w/12v pump, Jensen AM/FM/CD 4 Spkr Stereo with remote, etc. Does not have Kelty Tent option.
