This WeeWind was rebuilt in the spring of 2022. It still retains its original pipe frame chassis but underwent the following during the rebuild..

* new subfloor
* new Forbo linoleum flooring
* new curtains
* new upholstery
* custom made pillows
* refinished (original) cabinetry
* polished inside and out

While the kitchen and cabinetry were out, we stripped the original blue/green factory paint, and polished the interior to a mirror shine. All aluminum interior pieces (bed frames, galley pieces) were polished and all cabinetry was sanded and refinished. This is a stunningly beautiful trailer, a very rare model and needs absolutely nothing.

The WeeWind was one of several Airstream trailers offered during that year. The factory was ramping up production post World War II and their ‘liners,’ as they called them, were named after famous winds; winds like Chinook, Tradewind, Breeze and the smallest of the winds, the WeeWind. The WeeWind weighs less than 1,500 pounds, tows easily and is simple to park and maintain.

We enjoy taking it to vintage trailer rallies in California, as well as local car shows and the occasional photo shoot. It is time to move it along to its next caretaker. The WeeWind is available for you to view if you are local, or we will gladly receive your inspector if you wish to have it professionally inspected. The new owner will receive an original dining table with two chairs a vintage awning with poles, and a spare tire. The trailer has a clear California title and YOM plates are included if the trailer stays in California.
