It was found languishing in a field in 1999, purchased and started its journey of rejuvenation and travel with me for the past 23 years. By 2003 the interior had been totally renovated including new floor, open counter and plenty of storage. Also included in the renovation were new propane/electric refrigerator, hot water heater, 2 burner stove, heater, water tank, wiring, plumbing and gas lines. There are lots of lights that use both battery and 110 electricity. It is a 30 amp hookup or has a pigtail to plug into 110. In 2003, it went on its first 3-month trip with me. Over the years a new axle, wheels with candy apple red rims and baby moon hubcaps and air conditioner were added. This trailer is a dream, so easy to pull. I loved the trailer life so much, I sold my home and lived in the Bambi permanently for over 12 years. It is 100% ready to just hitch up and go. Sale includes everything needed to start traveling. Included are hitch, spare tire with painted rim, wheel, water line, septic hoses and an awning with red and white stripes. The 1961 Bambi’s only had a black water holding tank, external gray water tank must be used when not hooked up.
