Available is a 1961 Ambassador Airstream R/V trailer which received a complete, professional, and quality high-end restoration in 2019 which incorporated many modern conveniences and luxuries. Vintage trailers of this condition and finish level are limited in the market place.

The exterior of this R/V is the quintessential highly-polished Aluminum. The tires are all in excellent shape and a spare is included. The glass is all in excellent condition. Even the pair of 30lb front-mounted propane tanks are polished. An electric jack is mounted on the tongue. The hitch is 2 5/16″ and provisions are installed for a stabilizer system.

The chassis was fully coated with POR 15 rust inhibitor. The subfloor was replaced and epoxied as required. New insulation was installed. Two new axles, new wheels, new custom fabricated wheel wells, and new brakes were installed. The belly pan aluminum was also replaced. Leveling jacks are included.

All windows and frames were removed. The old sealant was removed. The glass was cleaned and resealed. All the windows have been resealed between the glass and frames.

A new SS 30amp inlet was installed. New marine-grade wiring, connectors, and terminals were used. The on-board batteries are Lifeline AGM style. A new 30-amp converter, 300-watt solar, and 3000-watt inverter was implemented.

The climate control is also completely upgraded and new by replacing the A/C and heat pump. The furnace is new as well as the ducting. A new tankless water heater was also installed. A smoke alarm, LP detector, and CO detector are also used.

The refrigerator is new and the original style door was chosen. Likewise, the stove/oven is a refurbished of original style.

All interior seams have been resealed. The interior has had new paint. The entry door has been refurbished and the lock has been replaced and upgraded. There is also an additional deadbolt installed. All compartment doors have been refurbished. All locks have been replaced.

There is a TV screen installed in the bunk area as well as a pair of fans sized perfectly to move the air around.

New floors have been installed. The countertops are custom solids. There is a dining table. Storage is available in the dinette and the table is collapsible to make a second bed. All cabinet slides and hinges are self/soft close. All of the cabinet hardware is new. The interior uses recessed LED lighting.

All of the exterior badging and tags were removed, cleaned, and reaffixed to the trailer. A ZipDee exterior awning is also installed and it runs the full length of the R/V’s right side.

The PEX water lines throughout the R/V are new and a Seelevel II tank monitor system is incorporated. The toilet, shower pan, and shower fixtures are new. The 11 gallon black, 45 gallon fresh, and 28 gallon grey tanks are new as well. All of the gas lines are also new.
