1964 24’8” Airstream Trade Wind Land Yacht – in very good condition!

The 24’8” AIRSTREAM Trade Wind is a classic travel trailer that offers timeless style and functionality. This particular model was manufactured in the year 1964, making it a vintage gem for enthusiasts and collectors alike. The sleek exterior design of the AIRSTREAM Trade Wind is instantly recognizable, with its iconic aerodynamic shape and polished aluminum body.

Inside, this model features a cozy living with a well equipped kitchen/dining area, two bed spaces, and bathroom area. The bathroom has a toilet, bath/shower, mirror and cabinet. The hallway is enclosed with a folding door in front of the bathroom and a second one at the other end of the hall. This enclosed space includes a full bed, cabinets, closet, and alcove with a counter and window. The kitchen area includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, sink and counter, and cabinets. The living space is cooled with an A/C, a vent fan and a ceiling vent. Heating occurs with the original furnace which currently does not work. The frig, stove/oven, water heater, and furnace run off of propane tanks (two in the front of the trailer above the hitch), while the air conditioner, water pump, lights and outlets run off the 30 amp connection. An electric switch can change to battery power source for the lights.

Despite its age, this AIRSTREAM Trade Wind is a testament to the durability and craftsmanship that the brand is known for. All electrical, gas, and plumbing systems are fully functional with the exception of the propane furnace. Most items in the airstream are original. The air conditioner and refrigerator are only a few years old. The title is clear! The original guide book, furnace manual, aweing instructions, refrigerator installation and operation instructions are included.
