“When you enter this vintage Airstream trailer you enter another world. The inside is the original Philippine mahogany that has not been altered since it was launched in 1965. It is called a ‘land yacht’ because it feels like you are walking into a wooden boat. I have not seen a layout I like better than this model. It has 2 couches that slide out to become double beds, dining table that folds when traveling, a galley kitchen, and then towards the back is another couch/bed with a full closet. In the back is the sink, tub/shower, and toilet (see photo of layout). Most of the trailer is vintage airstream and it comes with the original Airstream owners’ manual, warranty, appliance manuals, and other paper work original to the 1965s Airstream. The aesthetics of the Airstream have been maintained. I truly love this trailer- she is a gem – and I think she is rare in terms of being original, well-cared for, and has the original mahogany wood throughout. HISTORY: I purchased the trailer in August of 2003 from a couple in Des Moines, Iowa. I hold clear title and I hold the registration. I now live in NE Washington state and am selling the trailer due to my age. The trailer is at my house and road ready.

EXTERIOR: The body panels are all original and do have a few dings and scratches. The keyed front door is original as is the screen door. There are 3 hatches with original hatch covers that are keyed and work; the back compartment cover was purchased 5 years ago and has a new key. There are 4 roof vents and an additional 2 vents that open for air flow. All windows work and have original latches. All windows but 1 have original screens. Several window glass panes were replaced and caulked. New ePlastic rock guard replacement for front window. The original awning has light staining on underside and works.The underbelly (see pic) is in good condition.

INTERIOR: There are no soft spots in the sub-floor. There are 2 pull out couches that make into double beds; 6’ 3” long x 4’ wide. The bed is comfortable and is covered with material with a 4” layer of foam. There is a dinette fold-out table near the front couch that measures about 30 x 30”. The floor covering is durable Industrial Weave Point carpet plus Marmoleum in the bathroom added about 10 years ago. The most alluring part of the trailer is the Philippine mahogany that is through-out the trailer, including the cabinet doors. There are 2 original vinyl Masland Duran passage doors that show wear. There are wood Levolor blinds on front and back windows; curtains on other windows. The walls are painted creamy white and are clean (non-smoker). There are 5 original 12V lights, and 4 reading lights on either side of couch/beds. The bathroom has a sink, shower/tub and toilet with new custom shower curtain. I do have a short video of the outside on request.

APPLIANCES: There is the original and working Magic Chef propane stove and 3 burner propane cooktop with a ceiling fan. A new (2021) Whirlpool electric refrigerator Model # WHR31TS4E, original Duo-Therm DC 1525 propane furnace with Honeywell thermostat that I have never used – I used a portable De’Longhi oil filled electric heater.

SYSTEMS:
PLUMBING, SINKS, TOILET, TANKS: The plumbing system has no current leaks; it has been upgraded. There is an original hot water heater with a polyethylene tank and new Atwood gas control knob. There are 2 original working sinks – a double kitchen sink, and a bathroom sink. The tap in the kitchen is original, the 2 taps in the bathroom are new; 1 shower tap, 1 sink tap. There is a 30 gallon lightweight polyethylene fresh water tank in front beneath the couch with a new Shur Flow Whisper King model 2093 water pump that operates with an inside switch. The toilet is a marine-style with a dump pedal and sewage holding tank. The waste holding tank permits use of the toilet for several days and includes waste water from sink, shower, bath and toilet. They drain into a holding tank (19 gallon capacity) made of molded plastic and is valve controlled.

AIR CONDITIONER: There is a Coleman electric air conditioner Model #7333C881, Serial #049621181 that is older and in good working order.

ELECTRIC AND PROPANE: There are 2 15 lb propane tanks, hoses, regulator with a plastic cover all on front of the trailer. The electrical service is 20 and 30amp. There is a new Boondocker BD 126HWL 60 AMP 4-Stage Hard Wire Lithium Power Converter/Charger.

TOWING, TIRES, SHOCK ABSORBERS, HITCH: This is a 2 axle trailer that we just pulled from Wyoming to Washington and it transported well. The tires are 2019 ST225/75R15 Radial Trail including spare. They were purchased at Plains tire (per invoice). The shock absorbers were replaced in 2020. Tire Rama did a double axle bearing pack, seals, grease, brakes and checked wire plug for brakes in 2015 (per invoice). The emergency breakaway cable is present. The hitch is 2” with 2 safety chains, 2 tow bars, and trailer hitch. It has a 7-way trailer wire connection; the running lights and exterior lights are working.
