Vintage 1966 Airstream Tradewind for sale. This trailer was purchased in August 2007 from a gentleman who acquired it from the presumed original owner near Cadillac Michigan. I used the trailer in its original condition for lake camping the first year. I then had an RV center install a new plex plumbing system with pump, fresh water tank and toilet. Also new propane tanks, hot water heater, roof air conditioner and two roof vent fans. Several years ago a new roof AC unit installed by electrician with wiring to its own circuit. 12 volt system intact with a new battery shut off installed in rear cabinet. A new black water tank installed 5 years ago. Original curved Corning glass windows on sides, plexiglass front and back, with new tinted rock guard on front window. Marmoleum flooring installed on solid subfloor. Original 3 way fridge was replaced with electric. Propane stove and oven. I have not used propane heater, opting for a small electric heater fan if needed. The exterior was polished by me several years ago, was a brushed nickel look when purchased. Does polish to beautiful shine. Grey vinyl snap on cover on front bumper, the bumper has a small dent beneath cover that was there when purchased. The original goucho couch cushions replaced with new and upholstered. The front goucho extends for sleeping, middle goucho replaced with a twin sized upholstered cushion.
