We are parting with our little Caravel after 28 years of ownership. It’s been from Yellowstone to Hilton Head just to mention a couple trips. It was put in a barn after we got our 34′ Airstream about 9 years ago but now we are replacing them both with a motorhome. Years ago I took out most of the interior and fixed any problem of which there were few. The toilet and the 7 gallon fiberglass black water tank were replaced. A new refrigerator was installed. I made the window treatments during the remodel. All the woodwork was sanded and oiled, no poly or varnish needed. A bike rack was added to the rear and is easily removable. The exterior has some war wounds but nothing major. New aluminum LP tanks replaced the outdated original tanks. There is nothing wrong with the front window, a protective cover of Lexan protects the window. For transparency there are only a few negative items to mention; needs new tires, needs door knob (deadbolt works), small hole in floor under sink (the rest of the trailer is solid).
