We are moving on to a different type of RV traveling, and hate to see our little Airstream sit, bored and all alone. We have loved our trips with her and wish for her to get back out on the road where she belongs. This 18′ Caravel has the original layout, woodwork and most of the original working appliances. The stovetop, oven and refrigerator are original and in good working condition. She has a newer toilet, MaxxFan, ceramic heater, water pump and hot water heater. She has a second house battery with a newer charger, and double propane tanks. She comes with a nice awning and front window rock guard. She can sleep up to two adults and two children (medium sized dogs in our case). The Caravel did not come with a gray water tank, so there is a portable holding tank to place in your towing vehicle if you will not be camping with a direct sewer connection. She is easy to pull, so a huge tow vehicle is not necessary. When built, her weight with a full tank of water was 2880#, and her tongue weight was 360#.

She is 53 years old, so needs to be treated with love and understanding. She came to us with a nice oxide finish on the aluminum, which we prefer over the overly polished look. We have kept her that way. Also, at 53, there are bumps and bruises as are found on all of us. I have included photos of the signs of living a full life: indentations, etc . These came before our ownership, but again we liked her for what she is and didn’t want to try and pull out those “blemishes”. No known history of leaks or other water damage.
