This vintage beauty is a brand-new trailer with a vintage exterior. Completely renovated and refurbished in 2019-2021, we started from the ground up. Our family motto is flexibility, so we planned for ease of upgrades or additions as our camping needs changed, so it’s ready for you to customize and match your expectations.

Owner’s Description: Rebuilt from the ground up by an award-winning aircraft builder, this vintage trailer is solid and robust, with lots of planned product improvements in the design features. SEWSHINY paired our love of aluminum aircraft with vintage sewing for a quirky custom finish that yields a unique glamping-experience. We lifted the shell from the original frame, built a new trailer, installed new Dexter axles, new wheels, 13” electric brakes, and 14ply Cooper tires. We installed extra-sturdy steps, water-resistant flooring, and new floor channel on the perimeter before lowering the shell back into position and ensuring it was well-attached to the frame. All new wiring and new insulation as well as new LED lights were installed. We removed the plastic end-caps and built new aluminum open space endcaps for a roomy interior. New birch cabinets, new Butcher block countertops, a built-in bookshelf for shoes or trinkets, and storage for laundry management were all factored into the design plan. With her white elastimeric roof and black belly trim and banana wraps, SewShiny looks like a new-vintage trailer and combines the best features of both.
Ownership History: Our neighbor purchased it with intentions to renovate into a mobile coffee shop, but never did. We moved it from his house to ours and then did a full shell-off renovation.
Why are you selling? We have decided we prefer to camp in our camper van instead of towing a trailer. It’s probably an old-dog, new-tricks situation, but we like what we like.
Exterior Condition: The exterior of the trailer is in a good shape. One exterior panel was replaced due to damage, and the rest was sealed or patched as necessary during our complete overhaul.
Roof Vents and Skylights: New vents are MaxxAir fans with remotes, powered and dual-directional.
Exterior Hatch Covers and Locks: All in place. Keys included.
