In 2016 the inside was gutted for new subfloor, new pex plumbing, custom real wood cabinetry, butcher block counter tops, reclaimed wood throughout, under bed storage, natures head composting toilet, barrel shower, propane 2 burner stove, propane water heater, dual electric/propane Dometic fridge/freezer. Fresh water storage tank and pump, grey water storage tank, no black tank – never have to dump sewage!!! Since I purchased in 2016, from a reputable Airstream renovation company I have replace or upgraded the following: new Dometic A/C 2020, new Goodyear Endurance tires in 2022, two spare tires, replaced window seals on all but two windows, installed fantastic 12V fan above bed, new electric jack, trailer polished in 2021, bearings cleaned and repacked 2023, brand new trailer brakes 2023.

Airstream had been stored out of the weather since I bought her, the only time it sleeps outside is when I am camping. I custom built this camper and have poured a lot of love and TLC into her for the last 8 years. I (solo traveler) have been all over the country, up and over mountains, to music festivals, to the beach, lakes, she’s even ridden a ferry or two. Based on my journal I have pulled her over 20,000 miles in 8 years and I have details on where I’ve pulled her and how many miles, and when maintenance was performed. The 25’ length is very easy to get in and out of gas stations, through large cities, and the way I designed it you can see out the back window from your rear view mirror so you know what’s coming up behind you at all times. The open floor plan allows a wonderful breeze to go through the whole trailer when all the windows are open. Backing into camping spots is an absolute breeze as well.
