This 1971 Airstream Sovereign 31 has been completely transformed for comfort on the road. As only the third owner, I am proud to share this journey with the next member of the Airstream family. This vintage model was taken down to the frame and built back up, adding modern features and contemporary style.
The front bed, rear bath layout features a queen bed with a purple mattress and adjustable platform bed, deep custom cabinetry with lots of storage, magnetic blackout curtains, and couch opposite the office desk space.

Interior additions include engineered hardwood floors, thermostat controlled quiet warmth heated flooring, LED lighting throughout, reliable pex plumbing, on-demand tankless water heater, and two rain-sensor fantastic fans.
The galley is finished with concrete countertops, soft-close cabinets and drawers, two under-counter Norcold 3-way fridges with freezer, Beville convection oven, Wolf two-burner stovetop, stainless steel deep double-sided Vigo sink and pull-down faucet. 

The shower features both rain and handheld showerheads, penny tile, and thick fiberglass shower wall. The porcelain Thetford toilet and vessel sink bring comfort to the road. 

Exterior features include Dometic low-profile Penguin II AC unit and heat pump, Dexter lifted axles, numerous lighting options, propane grill connections, original 40# propane tanks, electric tongue jack, and two original Zipdee awnings with brand new sunbrella fabric. While down to the frame, the chassis was sealed for rust prevention and shell was thoroughly tested for leaks and sealed inside and out. A grey tank was installed and the tanks measure as follows: fresh 45g, grey 16g, black 19g.
Technology upgrades include a VictronEnergy Inverter, 3 lithium batteries with power display, tank monitors and tank heaters, pop-up countertop electrical/usb outlets, and wiring run and ready for solar installation. Centromatic wheels and anti-sway bars are included.
