Beautifully kept 1972 Airstream Ambassador with a clear title! She is ready to take on your next camping adventure, tows great, new axles in 2015 and has new rims and tires May 2022!

2 couches that lay down into full size beds! One in the front and one in the middle. The bathroom is in the rear.

We have owned her for 2 years and have made many wonderful memories but it comfortable sleeps 4 and we have a family of 5 and now a puppy and have outgrown it as our youngest gets older and bigger we can no longer sleep 3 in a bed!

The work listed below was done by Woodland Airstream, a professional airstream dealer and restorer located in Grand Rapids, MI in 2015! This is what gave us peace of mind buying as we wanted something we could camp in and not get caught doing a full restoration as many people get themselves into.

*removed inside panels of vista windows, right front one was replaced.
*replaced wing windows
*installed new axles
*installed new zip dee awning
*installed new elbow in water tank, hook up vent and fill hose
*repaired rear end sag – (elephant ears)
*removed interior flooring In front gallery forward to couch to repair frame and replace soft spots, laid new subfloor and brand new marmoleum vivace flooring throughout.
*removed underbelly, cut out rusted outrigger and replaced bad section of frame on passenger side between front axle and A-frame.
*painted interior plastics in rear bathroom
*ran new battery wires and installed new battery
*replaced and rewired power converter
*replaced water heater and replumbed complety
*replumbed entire system
* checked over LP system installed new tanks, regulators and hoses
* installed new furnace
*Repair shower faucet and hose
* installed new toliet
*replaced A/c shroud
* checked for leaks and seal teched unit and resealed exterior of unit
* installed new TV antenna and tan new wire to power booster
* replaced all lights, 7 way cords and plugs
*installed new crank Jack
* new furnace and water heater installed in 2015 and both work great!!

We installed the tires and rims in May of 2022.

There are no current leaks. We have had one since we got her and we were on the lookout when we first purchased! We traced it down and replaced the roof gasket seal and caulked around it and that took care of the
problem!

7 of the 16 windows have the film that is in between the double pane windows were the film inside the window has begun to wrinkle. This is common for the age and doesn’t affect the function and is more cosmetic. If this is a big deal there are a few options to remove the film layer between the double panels but we didn’t let it bother us as we are there to camp!
