1974 Airstream 31 foot. This is a complete renovation that completely replaced everything in the trailer except the frame, aluminum shell and windows. Here is an itemized list of the work that was done:
Trailer frame was welded with new frame outriggers as needed and painted.
New 2 5/16 hitch coupler and a anti-sway hitch.
Axles were replaced as were all the tires
Floor was completely replaced with the frame off and was painted with weather resistant paint.
Replaced all wall frame channels.
Two windows were added and all screens were replaced.
Two new Dometic air conditioner units were installed. One is a heat pump and one has heat strips.
Added two roof mounted fans with rain detectors for automatic shut off
Replaced all plumbing lines and fixtures. Added a macerating toilet.
Replaced the electrical system including all lights. The electrical service is 50 amp.
The walls were spray foamed before the interior aluminum was replaced.
Replaced all gas plumbing. Includes two 40 lb tanks that have been certified.
Added 4 furrion cameras. Cameras are on both sides and the rear and over the door.
Installed tire pressure monitoring system with a monitor that sits in the tow vehicle.
Installed a furrion gas stove and a furrion 12 volt refrigerator.
All cabinets were replaced with custom cabinets. Includes a pull out pantry cabinet.
Replaced all cushions, all shades and curtains. Replaced all flooring with luxury vinyl tile flooring.
Replaced all three holding tanks with new tanks. Replaced all tank dump valves.
Replaced all aluminum underbelly protection.
Added 12 volt heat tape to plumbing under the floor.
Added tankless gas hot water heater.
Replaced the 12 volt on-board water pump. Added battery monitor.
Installed new exterior vinyl decorative stripes.
The bath was constructed with a 5 foot fiberglass tub and shower.
Installed new kitchen table top and telescoping pedestal table support that lower to create an additional bed.
Installed new Tochita mattresses that were made to fit the curvature of the walls.
Installed new mattress frames that include drawers and installed new table benches with storage. Removable supports are included and a third mattress is included to fit between the two twin mattresses to create a bed that is the width of the trailer.
Retained all the brochures for the equipment installed and have the original owners manual that came with the trailer.
Two TV’s are included.
The exterior aluminum has been polished to a mirror finish.
The roof has been painted white with a to reflect the sun and water.
