Got a clean slate for someone wanting to customize their own Aistream/Argosy Trailer.

Bought it last year thinking I would just remodel some of the inside, take a few months and get it back on the road. Ended up being in way worse shape than I thought and it needed to be gutted. None of the electrical was working, plumbing was bad, and was past the point of no return. Also bought when it was impossible to get parts…which is not the case today.

I did tons of research on how I was going to build it out, got it all gutted, got some parts…which I’ll list below, and then got back to work and I’ve been making very slow progress. I have fallen in love with this, but unfortunately I feel like I need to cut my losses. It just needs someone that has the time and desire to finish it. I have the desire, just not the time. If you do your research or have worked on these before, it’s not that complicated if you’re handy. If you aren’t, I would look at something done already.

All glass is in great shape and intact. No cracks or chips. They do need new screens and probably new seals while your at it.

Two frame supports were added. 99% of the frame was stripped, prepped and then coated with an anti-rust sealant, Por15 The only parts that still need to be sealed are at the points where the subfloor is still connected to the frame/body. Once you lift those areas to add new subfloor, then you can touch up those areas. I have extra Por15 that you can have.

-2 brand new Dexter axles with new brakes all around. Installed
-Dexter lift kit…adds 2.5″ of lift for clearance…perfect if you have an inclined driveway like I do. Installed.
-New shocks. Installed
-Hornsby Padded front window cover in black. This will protect the windows while driving. Not installed, but brand new
-Brand new Excel ventless water heater. Not installed
-2 Custom aluminum wheel wells. Originals were cracked severely, and the last thing I wanted was a blow out on the road damaging the inside of the cabin. We got the idea from Drivin’ and Vibin’ who did the same thing. Not Installed
-Brand new Dometic AC unit. Not installed.
-Brand new Natures Head Composting toilet. Not installed.
-2 Brand new Vents. Not installed.
-Original fresh water tank. Not installed.
-Has the grey water tank. I was planning on not using it and using a portable hookup. My reason for this was to eliminate future repairs underneath. Once these trailers are all sealed up, making repairs underneath is a huge hassle. Barker and Camp Addict where the ones I was looking at.

Like I mentioned before, this thing is gutted. It needs a lot of work, but these complete renovated and retrofitted are $60k+

My plan was to put in all new electrical and plumbing, deep cycle batteries that hook up to solar, and then obviously, the whole inside.

I have all the original interior aluminum skins that I was saving for templates for when the time came to reskin the inside. You can have them, or not.

Unfortunately, it did not have the original KT Lock on the door, and currently does not lock.

When I bought it last year, the DMV was closed, so I never dealt with the bill of sale I got at the time. I will deal with it next week and get it all up to date.
