1976 Sovereign Land Yacht for Sale located 1 hour east of Charlotte, NC. This model is center bath, bedroom in the rear. I purchased this a couple of years ago from a fella who had it under shelter at the lake. I bought it provide shelter temporarily while we built a farmhouse on a new property. We slept in it, that’s about it. As far as I know, everything is original with the exception of the fridge and microwave. The bathroom is original, as are the cabinets, kitchen, kitchen sink and countertop, range, other cabinets, and jackknife sofa. I sleep better on the jackknife than I do at home. The sofa does need to be reupholstered. There is a front jack on the trailer and 2 LPG fuel tanks. I do know that the air conditioners were replaced in 2015 and they cool. We did not do anything in terms of repair. We have not run any of the systems (water, gas, heat, bathrooms, etc) with exception of we connected it to a generator and later to shore power. We drove it once, about 30 miles to where it sits. The tires hold air but they will need to be replaced. I did the axel bounce test and it checked out as good (still angled down). Regarding the frame, after watching many videos on frame restoration, its hard for me to know the extent of what is needed. There is a good deal of rust down there, but I am no expert on whether it will need cutting/welding or if it can be sanded and treated.

Full transparency. I intended on restoring it so I know a little about it and what it may need. Things I know for sure: It needs a belly pan replacement, insulation in places and associated floorboard work. I do know that it has a wet spot in the back bedroom floorboard which needs patching or replacement. My intent was to simply pull up the original carpet, patch or replace flooring, and put down lvt. To my knowledge, I am unaware of any other floorboard wet spots. As shown in the photo, there is a dent in the front. It looks sizeable but apparently is not leaking water. I would know if it was because that is where I slept. I did get on the roof and caulked around air conditioners etc.. All of the windows work and to my knowledge none of them leak. All lights work. I purchased new window curtain rod (wires) and brackets but have not installed, so it has original curtains. This thing came with a vacuum so the original carpet still looks good. It still has original AM FM Cassette Player, Clock & Thermostat and Central Control Panel. It has no battery or water heater. I have never put water in it so I have no idea what condition the tanks are in. Have original paperwork including manual. Originally bought in Charlotte.

It served its purpose but now that the farmhouse is complete, we have no use for it and don’t have the energy to restore it.
