Fully renovated OFF GRID 1976 Airstream Sovereign Land Yacht 31′ with all the amenities of a large home!

Fully renovated, it features 3 bunk beds for the kids (or great for extra storage), and a full bed in the rear for the larger humans/ dogs!

The original renovators own a Canadian interior design firm, Sitka Design. They lived on a sailboat for 2 years, and then chose and designed this Airstream to live in full time with their 3 children. Meticulously detailed, every inch serves to make this a perfectly organized 200 sq foot tiny house for a full family. Everyone has a private bed with a private space. The bunk beds feature hand- made privacy curtains, and the full bed in the rear can be sectioned off with a curtain as well. An office space is provided for working on the road. Copious storage was built in, and a washer/dryer combo adds extra luxury, making it a full time livable Airstream.

It is fully capable of living off grid with water nearby. Our family of four (two adults, one kid, and our dog) has lived in this airstream full time for the past 16 months. We’ve also had it off grid in the WINTER (in Montana) and SUMMER! The gorgeous wood stove makes it perfect for chilly mornings and evenings. Under the front bench is a freshwater storage tank with a filtration system, giving you plenty of drinkable water on the road. A composting toilet is easy to manage and means no dealing with a black tank! The gorgeous kitchen table has legs that fold in, making it easily stow-able AND allows you to take dinner outside in any location.

Our family bought this airstream with the intent to live full time in her (affectionally named “Birdey”). We have, indeed lived in Birdey and are now ready to be a bit more mobile (selling Birdey to transition into a van). This airstream is SO special and the experiences it will take you on are like no other. We are fond of this airstream, and the family we purchased it from. We would love another family to have the opportunity to enjoy this gorgeous home on the road.
