For sale is a 1979 Airstream Land Yacht. I have owned it since 2018. It is in fair condition. The tires were put on it new in 2018 and they only have around 4000 miles on them. I also added new trailer brakes to it in 2018. I also added a trailer weight distribution and sway bar system to it that it comes with it. When I bought it, it didn’t have an awning so I added a new one to it in 2019 that looks like what would have been on it originally. The A/C still works as does the fridge, oven, range top, sink, water filter and the NuTone in counter kitchen mixer system which we have most of the attachments for. (See Photos) I also have the original Airstream manual for it which is really rare. There are some minor dents in the exterior that can still be popped out but don’t effect anything other than cosmetics. I also added an all-in-one washer/dryer to it that is plumbed into the plumbing system and works great. When I purchased it, it did not have the original main bed in it so I added a really nice futon to it for sleeping or to put up into a couch when we were entertaining. There is also a twin bed in middle area of the Airstream so it sleeps 3 adults comfortably. The toilet and the bathroom sink work but the shower needs a new shower head plumbed. We never needed to use the shower so I never fixed it. Honestly if I was going to keep it, I would make the shower area into a storage area since everywhere we stay usually has nice showers. The sitting bench in the shower also needs to be patched as there is a hole in it. The hot water heater works. I changed the lighting in the Airstream because I really like the bare Edison bulb look but I do still have all of the original lighting if you want to easily make it back original. Overall this is a great classic Airstream that just needs a little love but could get on the road today and do everything you need it to.
