1979 Airstream Excella. Super rare. Exterior last refreshed in 2015.
We’ve put many 10,000’s of $$ and hours of TLC since purchasing it in 2009.
We stripped out the old musty furniture and did away with the bathroom and sinks as well… simple, open, sleek layout.
2 full-size beds that also convert to U-shaped couch in the rear (with table in the center) and standard couch on the left side.
1 swivel chair towards front right.
2 captain’s chairs up front for driver and passenger.
Engine was replaced in 2015 – Chevrolet Performance 502 C.I.D. HO 461 HP Long Block Crate Engine Part #12568778. Currently needs full tune. Transmission is skipping as well. Drove it 300 miles recently and while it definitely makes it from point A to point B the engine needs work by someone who knows Chevy Performance engines well. The engine has been frustrating for me, and unless you know engines or can find someone who does, it will likely be frustrating for you too.
