1984 31’ Airstream Excella “Rosie”

Our family wanted to restore an Airstream old enough to have vintage charm without being too old that major structural or functional issues would be problematic. We found what we were looking for in this beautiful 1984 31’ Airstream Excella we named “Rosie”. We gave Rosie a tasteful renovation, seeking to balance the original aesthetics while improving functionality and flow.

This Airstream is LOADED. Rosie can sleep 4 people and she comes with tons of storage, gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, an electric fireplace, new AC unit, new furnace, new water heater, new tires, new batteries, a large eating area that doubles as sleeping space for 2 (removable table), beautiful original tambour cabinets (roll up type) w/ rose-gold trim, 2 rear twin beds and a mid-bathroom configuration.

We purchased this camper in Aug. ‘21 and gave it a 6 month intensive interior renovation. We have thoroughly enjoyed camping in Rose for the last several seasons but are ready to move on to our next adventure!

The final step for this vintage camper would be to polish the exterior. The exterior aluminum is free of any major defects or blemishes and has been carefully stripped of the remaining clearcoat to prepare it for polishing. Included with this camper is a complete professional polishing setup included (Dewalt variable speed buffer/polisher – 3500 RPM, Zephyr kit). This is the setup the pros use.
