This 1985 Airstream Excella was fully renovated in 2017 by Capital City Customs Inc., a full service Remanufacturing-Restoration company, based in Raleigh, NC, who specialize in Airstreams, Custom Commercial Vehicles, and Luxury Motor Coaches.

In July 2020, mounted 4 new Good Year endurance tires, cleaned and repacked wheel bearings and replaced seals, and inspected the axels. Very little camping was done during covid, 2020-present.

The bunkbeds can be used or removed with a significant amount of storage underneath. The Roof mounted solar panel keeps the refrigerator, freezer and lighting available. Dual heating (gas and electric) provides efficiency. Customer fabricated retractable television stand with remote provides additional space at the bar area. Each luxury feature was custom selected for quality, camping functionality and design.

There is an appraisal report, completed after renovation, that lists the Fair Market Value at $156,000, prior to the supply and demand during covid of Airstreams.
