Have an Airstream for sale?

Selling your Airstream doesn’t have to be a hassle. We’ll help you get the best price, quickly and easily.

Off grid capable, fully renovated Excella Classic. 200 AH Lithium Ion battery bank, 400w solar, 2000w inverter/charger. Propane heat, 4 burner stove, on demand tankless water heater. 12v Stainless steel pullout refrigerator.

This was a “frame off” renovation which included restoring the trailer frame, removing rust, replacing pieces as needed and repainting entire frame. Plywood floor was completely replaced. The insulation and aluminum panels of the underbelly are also new.

Inside, we stripped all of the old walls and furniture, removed the interior panels and located and fixed all exterior leaks, replacing many of the old rivets as needed. Replaced old fiberglass insulation with rock wool insulation.

We designed this Airstream to be off grid capable, but to have a luxurious, open and hospitable feel. The spacious kitchen and living area could comfortably fit 5 or 6 people without being too crowded.

The electrical system was completely replaced including new e-brake and trailer lighting wires. The 400 watts of solar should provide plenty of power for off grid camps, with moderate power use. We have lived comfortably for a week at a time. Battery level, solar and power consumption are all monitored via Bluetooth using the Victron app. 30 amp shore power.

The plumbing was designed with cold weather and freezing in mind. The freshwater tank is located underneath the bed in the “garage” so that all of the delicate plumbing remains heated. The water heater is designed to prevent itself from freezing as long as it has power and propane. The only weak point in extremely cold weather would be the exterior drain valve and possibly the shower p-trap.

The freshwater has a city hookup as well as a pump.

The bathroom doubles as a wardrobe and changing area, the closet doors open to block the hallway and bed for privacy. The toilet is a Nature’s head composting toilet, so there is no black water tank in this camper. The shower is tiled, with three layers of waterproofing, Schluter pan, half inch backer board and waterproofing membrane. We have traveled over 3,000 miles including some minor off roading and the tile has held up perfectly. Water heated by Gerard products tankless on-demand water heater. Deep soft close drawers provide ample storage. Shower curtain hangs from hooks on ceiling but can be easily taken down and stored to keep the open roomy feel in the bathroom.

Queen size mattress. This is not a walk-around bed, more of a platform, but underneath the bed is completely open for pass through storage. The bed itself is hinged and can be raised for interior access to the garage. Both nightstands have 12v and 120v outlets.

Deep kitchen sink makes meal prep and cleanup a breeze. Large soft close kitchen drawers provide flexible storage. Living room and kitchen curtains hang by snaps when needed but can be easily removed and stored. All of the appliances except for the air conditioner were replaced in this renovation. The air conditioner is perhaps 10 years old and works great.
