2008 Airstream Safari SE 25FB
Clear Title! Purchased in 2012. Very Good Condition
I am the 3rd owner and I have made many upgrades, plus regular maintenance. I have the books and manuals. This trailer has been lightly used and has piles of storage. It has never been smoked in and is clean. There is a skylight in the living room area. There are 2 panoramic windows (front and back) and the bedroom is in the front. The interior colors are black and tan pillow accents and upholstery. The floor is tan carpet in the bedroom and tan vinyl in the remainder.
This is a highly desirable floorplan. The 25’ length is accepted at all campgrounds. The kitchen has two sinks like most homes, and a sink sprayer. The sink comes with a cutting board cover which makes more counter space. There is a separate filtered water spigot on the kitchen sink. The stove and oven are propane gas. I’ve added a folding shelf next to the kitchen sink for a little extra space. The counter top color is black and the bathroom vanity top is the same. There are 5 pantry baskets in the sliding pantry, vs. the 2 that came with it. Those 3 extra baskets are so useful.
The biggest change I made was to remove the teeny tiny bathroom door and the short wall next to it. This single upgrade made a world of difference. There are 2 accordion sliding doors between the kitchen and bedroom and the bathroom/shower. The bathroom is now roomy and comfortable to use. The shower head has been upgraded to the oxygenics water saver.
Another upgrade I made was to change the queen bed into a king. This can be easily converted back to a queen by removing a few screws and pieces of wood. The bedside table and outlet are still there to use. The mattress goes to the side wall, with the skinny walkway on the far side of the bed filled in with foam, etc. The revised bed is also longer….about 6”. Again, this can all be removed to make it back to a queen bed easily.
There is one flat screen TV, in the living room. It is hooked into a sound system which plays CD’s, and DVDs on the TV. There is a Sirius radio antenna and an inside-adjustable TV antenna, and it’s campground cable ready. There are 12v outlets throughout. The TV is wall-hung on swivel bracket. There are fantastic fans in the living room and bedroom with Maxx Aire vents installed on the outside to keep rain out while having vents open.
I’ve made storm windows for the screen door. These work well if it’s cold or hot outside. It lets you open the main door and have the view out the screen door without losing the heat or cold. The storms are made of Plexiglas and are removable. There are manual sliding and folding steps (2 steps) outside the door.
Outside, there are stainless steel covers on the hot water heater, the furnace and the vent for the kitchen stove. There is an outside shower and an awning. The front panoramic windows have smoke Plexiglas stone guards. The front lower panels have stainless steel stone guards. The gauges are all working and the black and grey dump valves have been replaced.
This Airstream will come with a Hensley Towing Hitch, Centramatic Balancers (4) and McKesh Towing Mirrors (2).

Contact Seller
Consider these tips in order to send or receive payment safely.
Know the vehicle’s market value
Be very suspicious of any vehicle priced significantly below market value. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Confirm contact information
Verify the seller’s physical address and phone number BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT. Zip codes, area codes and addresses should match up.
Use email wisely
Do not send personal or financial information (such as your social security number, credit card number or checking account number) to a seller via email. Email communications are not secure.
Do not use money transfer services, such as Western Union to pay for online purchases
Even Western Union recommends against using their service or similar services to pay for online purchases. Be cautious about any seller who will only accept a money transfer.
If using an escrow service for payment, make sure it is a reputable, valid escrow service
Some buyers, purchasing outside their local area, may consider using an escrow service. If so, make sure it is a legitimate service. Go directly to the website of the escrow service. Do NOT go to an escrow service through a link in the seller’s e-mail or use a service based on a referral from the seller. Check the web address to make sure you are at the valid website.
Get a detailed receipt
Ask the seller for a receipt that states whether the Airstream is being sold with a warranty or “as is.”
Get title to the vehicle
Make sure you know what’s required in your state to transfer title to the vehicle you’re buying.
Confirm contact information
Be wary of buyers willing to purchase your item sight-unseen, especially buyers located overseas. Always verify the buyer’s street address and valid phone number.
Verify that a certified check is genuine
Verify authenticity with the issuing bank prior to depositing a certified check. Make sure the account contains sufficient funds and the issuing bank guarantees payment on the check. Once deposited in your account, it may take a week or more for the check to clear. Acceptance by your bank does not guarantee the check is valid and funds are available. A cashier’s check can take 30 days or more to clear.
Secure payment first
Do not transfer the title until you have payment in hand at the agreed upon price (and you have verified that the payment is valid.
Beware of overpayment or other complicated payment schemes
Do not agree to any plan where the buyer asks to send a check for more than the sale price and requests that the seller refund the difference. Be suspicious of any buyer who proposes making payment through a friend or agent of the buyer.
File a report. File a report at www.ic3.gov with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Administration (BJA). IC3 gives victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism. IC3 in turn alerts authorities by referring reports to the correct law enforcement or regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level.
