We bought our Flying Cloud in 2012 when the first owner had an unexpected assignment overseas and had to sell. We bought his extended new vehicle warrantee and have maintained the RV with annual winterizing/de-winterizing, including packing the bearings and brake check. We also had the exterior periodically wolmanized to protect the original finish. All work was done by an authorized Airstream dealer. We upgraded the electrical system with battery monitoring protection to preclude overcharging and with a readout monitor of voltage levels. We upgraded the external trim from plastic to stainless to reduce weathering impacts and maintain quality appearance of the exterior. We replaced all five tires in August 2018, including spin balance. Included with the RV is the tow package with anti-sway bars.

We also minimized the wear and tear of use on the interior, keeping the sinks free of water stains, the stove and oven clean and the floors clean, including removing shoes at the door. In 2021 we replaced the dinette upholstery and table. We added exterior covers for the overhead fans/vents so that we could maintain circulation in the rain.
