2013 Bambi Sport 16’ RB
We are the second owner of this camper and a fan of Airstream. The camper has served us well and we have made a few improvements without drilling holes or cutting anything:
• New window stone guards 2023
• New mattress in 2021
• New batteries in 2022
• New tires in 2018
• Back-up camera (BC-30) and LED light that interfaces with Garmin GPS (GPS not included)
• New 100W Renogy solar panel with cables, charge controller, and energy consumption meter 2022
• New battery switch to allow use of Battery A, B, both or neither.
• Aluminum, checker-plate, tongue box to store basic stuff.
• A big, dovetailed drawer with full extension glides, that is more than twice the size of the original drawer and is located under the front seat.
• An inline charcoal water filter that filters the water after it leaves the storage tank on the way to the tap.
• Dexter blocks to raise camper a little more than 2”.
• LED 3W warm white lights in all existing fixtures.
• Closet door that swings fully open. (It matters.)
All of the appliances work just the way they should: Stove, refrigerator, water pump, water heater, furnace, air conditioner. The refrigerator keeps ice cream frozen and the lettuce and eggs refrigerator cold.
The camper is weather tight and has some small marks and dents from camping and hail here and there. It won’t disappoint you.
We winterized the plumbing by using compressed air to keep antifreeze out of the water system.
