2013 Airstream Interstate Lounge Non-Extended on 2012 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis with about 115000 miles.
Sitting over 2 years due to health issues could I not finish this modification.
The idea was to convert to an all-electric Van without any Propane and instate a lounge getting twin beds. 100% of the removed parts are available and go with it as well as about 80% of the parts for modification are also going with it.
The upper cabinets and bath are still installed and functional. For the first 6 years it was located in Illinois therefore on all the cutouts that Airstream made in the body rust started to develop. With some rust remediation, this could be stopped and the edges for the inserts stay over it anyhow.
This model “None-Extended” is not made anymore and the difference is that this can tow 7,500lbs with 750lbs tong weight whereas the “Extended” can only do 5,000lbs and 500lbs tong weight.
A similar Interstate sells for close to $100,000.00. It would need to be towed away as it had not moved or turned over for more than 2 years.
