When did you purchase?
Oct 2013
Ownership History:
We bought her new in October of 2013 in Austin, TX and immediately moved to Nevada. We’ve taken two extended trips lasting about three months each. We’ve had multiple trips lasting about a week, but most outings have been long weekends in Nevada and California. We almost exclusively boondock so we’ve added 800 watts of solar and a 400 ah LiFePO4 battery.
Why did you select this model?
We loved the layout, the rear bedroom and the overall design and construction.
Why are you selling?
We are going to hit the road full time for an extended amount of time and need something bigger.
Showing Instructions:
She’s in storage about 10 minutes from our house. We would schedule a place nearby, probably a large parking lot to meet the prospective buyers and let them look it over and answer all their questions. Technically we would need an hour to pick her up and get to a meeting place but would need a day or so to set the meeting place up.
Virtual Tour Instructions:
I could do a Facetime or Zoom walkthrough.
Exterior Condition Description:
Exterior is great, exactly what you’d expect of a 10 year old Airstream.
Hail Damage?
None
Aluminum Body Panels:
Lower panel above wheels replaced in 2014 after a tire blowout.
Filaform Damage?
None
Roof Vents and Skylights:
Two skylights in good condition. One fan above dinette in back of trailer in good condition.
Exterior Hatch Covers and Locks:
All good.
Windows, Seals and Operators:
All windows, controllers and seals are in good condition.
Entrance Door:
No damage to main door or screen door. All hardware is original and works fine.
Awnings:
One awning, just the main curb side awning that all Airstreams come with. It is manual operation and works great. The fabric is in great condition.
Front A-Frame Condition:
None
Rear Bumper / Exposed Frame Condition:
Small dent in right rear bumper. We did that the first night we had her and left it there as a reminder to back up safely 🙂 It’s hardly noticeable. It’s structurally sound with no rust and you can stand on it all you want.
Frame Condition:
Excellent condition structurally.
Sub-Floor:
None
Belly Pan:
Original and intact with no issues whatsoever.
Interior Layout and Condition:
All the leather upholstery is in great condition (this would be the dinette and the couch) with no signs of wear. The floor is good condition other than a few scuffs. Both televisions (living area and bedroom) have been removed as well as the antennae on top, due to our boondocking. This has left some screw holes that I’m putting some putty in but they will still be visible. There will be photos of that. We’ve replaced the RV queen mattress with a full size Leesa mattress which is much more comfortable. All walls and kitchen are in great shape with no problems, dings or scratches.
Dinette Style and Location:
Dinette is a typical Airstream table that folds down into a bed. I’ve drilled hole through back of table to allow laptop cables through. Other than that the surface of the table is in perfect condition.
Bathroom Location and Style:
The bathroom is in the middle of the trailer between the kitchen and bedroom. It is in excellent shape as well as the shower which is directly across from the bathroom.
Smoking?
Yes
Pets:
Yes, one dog been with us in the trailer for nine years. There is no damage he has caused.
Sleeping Areas:
Queen bed. Dinette, Airstream says you can sleep two. You can if they’re kids and the sofa. So, technically 5.
Mattress and Sleeping Surfaces:
Two year old Leesa queen mattress. Very comfortable. Sofa and dinette seating, excellent condition leather with no wear.
Interior Soft Surfaces – Cushions / Fabrics / Upholstery:
Original everything, leather in great condition
Curtains and Blinds:
Custom room darkening curtains added around eight years ago. All blinds are original and work without issue.
Interior Walls:
Original walls all in great condition needing no repairs.
Cabinets, Doors, and Counters:
All original doos, cabinets and counters. They are in original condition, no damage.
Floor Coverings:
I believe it is vinyl and it is good condition with just a couple of ding, scuffs. It is the original flooring.
Stove and Oven:
LP stove and oven. Three burners. Oven is in the middle of the trailer.
Refrigerator:
Original Dometic that it came with. Not sure of size, specs say mid size. Can use LP and electric.
Furnace / Space Heater:
LP and electric. Forced air. It also has heat pump through both AC units.
Other Appliances:
Came with a microwave which have removed. No other appliances added.
Plumbing – Water Lines, Water Pump:
All original. The only issue was a recent shower leak that only required a little tightening. There was no damage caused by the leak. We just noticed a little water on the floor, tightened up one connector and all is now good.

No other leaks ever.
Hot Water Heater:
six gallon tank, probably Dometic. It is the original one and works perfectly. It runs on both electric and LP.
Sinks and Taps:
Kitchen and bathroom sinks are original, work flawlessly with no leaks, ever.

original 39 gallons with no issues
Black Water Tank:
original 39 gallons with no issues
Exterior Water / Sewer Connections:
All original plumbing and in working condition.
Air Conditioner:
One rear and one front AC unit. They are original and work great. When we are loading for a summer trip and the temp in Vegas is 115 the two ACs with cool it down to 70 in just a few hours. It quires 50 amp service to run both of the or 30 for one. I have not installed a soft start. And they both have a heat pump function.
Electrical Service:
50 amp with one connection point. It is original and of course can accept 30 with an adaptor.
Solar / Batteries / Invertor / Converter:
The original converter is still installed. I’ve installed a 1000 watt inverter, 800 watts of solar and and 400 AH LiFeP04 battery with a 50 amp Victron charge controller. The solar set up is less than a year old.
Sound System / WiFi / Connectivity:
Factory system with speakers front and back of trailer. It does Bluetooth. There are no other communication upgrades.
LP / Propane System – Tanks, Hoses, Regulator:
Two 30 lb LP tanks. They are about three years old and certification is current. Hoses were replaced about three years ago as well.
