This 2014 23 ft Flying Cloud Front Bed (FB) is in excellent condition. The original owner suffered a change in health several months after purchasing it in Albuquerque. He returned it to the dealer where we – the current owners – purchased it and have enjoyed it for almost ten years. We are empty nesters and fulfilled our dreams of visiting a number of national parks and historical sites. We are now ready to move on to the next chapter of our life. We plan to use the proceeds to contribute to building a larger Church for our congregation.
It was stored on a pad next to our house when we lived in Albuquerque. It has been stored in a commercial covered storage garage since moving to Austin over 3 years ago. It has never been off the pavement. We took it out about 2 times a year until more recently when we have slowed down.
It is the very popular floor plan with a walk around 60×75 Queen bed in the front and a sink, toilet and shower (all in one room) in the back. In between is the kitchen, a dinette table with wrap around seating that makes into a 39×76 bed and two storage closets. (See Floorplan) The kitchen includes a slide out pantry, double sink with over and under storage, a 3-burner propane stove with oven, a refrigerator, and a built-in microwave. It is wired for cable with a smart TV, DVD, radio, and speakers. There are two auto vents and a full-length passenger side awning.
It has been well maintained. For example, in May we had the Austin Airstream dealer sanitize, flush, and inspect all the tanks and plumbing as part of their preventative maintenance protocol. In addition, we had them complete their air conditioning preventative maintenance that includes cleaning the coil and drain pan and ensuring the compressor readings are proper. This is our baby.
Bedding, chocks, leveling blocks, a sealed sewer hose complete with flexible, telescoping support, a portable waste holding tank, power cord, freshwater hoses, an additional pressure regulator and filter, tools including sockets for the stabilizer jacks and lug nuts and items that could come in handy at a campground are included. The Airstream has an owner installed wired rear/back up camera with monitor and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
We completed a final trip to a family reunion in April and it is ready to go for you.
