Location and History:

This stunning 2014 Airstream Classic 27′ is currently located in Cassopolis, MI, stored safely in a storage facility from October through April, ensuring it’s protected from the elements. This beauty has had just two owners, with the current owner acquiring it in August 2015.

Exterior Excellence:

The exterior of this Airstream is in superb condition, reflecting the careful maintenance it has received over the years. Thanks to indoor storage during the winter months, the aluminum body panels remain in excellent shape, with no filiform damage or significant wear. There are just a few tiny gravel dings on the stainless steel front gravel deflectors and aluminum gas tank cover—barely noticeable but worth mentioning.

The Airstream features a long Zip Dee power awning on the entrance side, with two additional manual awnings on the opposite side and rear window. All awnings are in excellent condition. And as a bonus, the power awning includes a zip-on screen room, perfect for bug-free relaxation.

Impeccable Interior:

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance created by the hickory wood cabinetry. The interior layout has been thoughtfully designed and customized by Ultimate Airstreams to include a Grand Lounge dinette configuration, replacing the original dinette and settees with versatile tables that can be arranged for two or expanded for larger gatherings. Across from the sink, you’ll find a custom multi-drawer Gourmet Cabinet, and additional cabinetry has been added under the stove, all seamlessly matching the existing hickory woodwork.

The center bath offers a separate shower and toilet/vanity area, maintaining privacy and convenience. The fixtures are mostly original, with a factory replacement glass shower door installed in 2022, ensuring everything is in perfect working order.

Comfort and Sleeping Arrangements:

This Airstream comfortably sleeps up to four people, with twin beds in the front bedroom and a convertible dinette area that can accommodate two additional sleepers. The original mattresses have been upgraded to luxurious pillow-top models from Airstream, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventure.

Mechanical and Utility Features:

The Airstream is equipped with a 15,000 BTU air conditioner with heating and cooling capabilities, a 30,000 BTU gas furnace, and a Dometic 7 cubic foot refrigerator that switches between gas and electric power. The plumbing system, including a 54-gallon fresh water tank, 37-gallon gray water tank, and 39-gallon black water tank, is in excellent working condition with no leaks.

For those who enjoy off-grid camping, the original roof-mounted solar charging system with three panels and two AGM Lifeline batteries provides reliable power. Additionally, this Airstream comes with a Hensley Arrow hitch for stable towing and a variety of accessories, including a Tire Traker TPMS, leveling blocks, and a spare wheel bearing.

Exterior Condition Description: The exterior is super clean since this unit has been stored indoors from October to April every year we have owned it since 2015. There are a few tiny gravel dings on the stainless steel front gravel deflectors, and some tiny dings on the aluminum gas tank cover.

Hail Damage? None.

Aluminum Body Panels: All Original.

Filaform Damage? None.

Roof Vents and Skylights: Two powered roof vents and two factory-installed skylights.

Exterior Hatch Covers and Locks: Three External Hatches: one in the front, and one in each side near the front of the trailer. These hatches are spacious: the side hatches about 52 inches wide and 15 inches deep, and the front hatch is even larger.

Windows, Seals and Operators: Windows are large, full-size opening Classic windows that pivot in one piece at the top and open outward very wide in three increments, providing great cross-ventilation. All windows, screens, seals, and operators are intact and operable.

Entrance Door: The entrance door has two factory-installed locks, is in perfect condition, and has two sets of keys. A factory-installed lower screen protector over the lower screen prevents damage from pets and small children.

Awnings: A long Zip Dee power awning protects the entrance door side, and two smaller manual awnings shade the opposite long side and the rear window. These awnings are all in excellent condition. BONUS: the Zip Dee power awning also comes with a zip-on SCREEN ROOM to keep the bugs on the other side.

Front A-Frame Condition: No visible rust or damage of the front A-Frame.

Rear Bumper / Exposed Frame Condition: No visible rust or damage of the rear bumper.

Frame Condition: The frame shows no signs of rust, frame weakness, or separation.

Sub-Floor: There are no soft spots, gaps, or holes in the sub-floor.

Belly Pan: The belly pan is original and intact. No holes, loose, or damaged sections.

Interior Layout and Condition: This unit is in great condition with all sturdy and beautiful hickory solid wood cabinets. Interior storage is abundant in all areas of this coach.

Dinette Style and Location: The dinette area was custom-designed and retrofitted to their Grand Lounge configuration by Ultimate Airstreams in Oregon. Ultimate Airstreams removed the original dinette and settees, replaced them with two tables that can be used singly (great for two people) or together to form a larger surface that accommodates the entire crew. Other custom touches include the addition of their multi-drawer Gourmet Cabinet directly across from the sink, and relocated the microwave into the slide-out pantry. The space under the stove is additional cabinetry. All replaced cabinetry is solid hickory, perfectly matching all the cabinetry in the rest of the coach.

Bathroom Location and Style: This coach features a Center Bath with the toilet and vanity on the RH side and a separate shower across the hall. The fixtures are mostly Original Equipment. Glass Shower Door replaced with genuine factory replacement in 2022. It all is in perfect operating condition.

Smoking? No

Pets: Yes. We have had a small dog during our entire ownership of this unit. The present dog is 10#, and the previous dog was 5#. There is no pet damage. Original owners made provisions for a cat, and there is a separate factory custom kitty sliding panel under the RH bed to let the cat occupy part of the storage area.

Sleeping Areas: Front bedroom twin beds plus dinette tables that telescope downward. Custom cushions fit them to accommodate up to 2 sleepers in the galley area. Total capacity is 4.

Mattress and Sleeping Surfaces: OEM twin mattresses were replaced with pillow-top super comfortable mattresses directly from Airstream.

Interior Soft Surfaces – Cushions / Fabrics / Upholstery: All interior dinette upholstery was replaced by Ultimate Airstreams in 2020 during the dinette customization.

Curtains and Blinds: All original, operate properly, and are clean.

Interior Walls: Walls are original and in excellent condition.

Cabinets, Doors, and Counters: All cabinets and doors are solid hickory. Ultimate Airstreams used identical hickory that they obtained directly from the Airstream factory.

Floor Coverings: Flooring is originally installed vinyl, in good condition.

Stove and Oven: Atwood Model CA35-BPNA three-burner gas cooktop. Microwave oven built into sliding pantry.

Refrigerator: Dometic Model RM3762, 7 cubic foot two-way refrigerator. Automatically switches between gas and 110vAC when connected to shore power.

Furnace / Space Heater: 30,000 BTU gas forced-air gas furnace.

Plumbing – Water Lines, Water Pump: Original plumbing system, all works correctly with no leaks. Cold water filter and drinking water faucet at the kitchen sink.

Hot Water Heater: Atwood 6-gallon LP/electric water heater. Original from Airstream.

Sinks and Taps: All original. Proper operating condition.

Toilet: Original from Airstream. Flush with foot pedal.

Water Leaks / Water Damage? Mold or Mildew? No known water leaks, current or past, and no evidence of mold or mildew.

Fresh Water Tank: 54-gallon original tank.

We originally towed this unit with a 3/4T Ford pickup, but in 2018 switched it out for a Ford Expedition (9,000# tow capacity) and are far happier with the ride quality, comfort, fuel economy, and maneuverability.
