My husband and I purchased this 19’ Flying Cloud (a Bambi) in 2014. Due to medical challenges in the ensuing seven years, we enjoyed only seven trips together, traveling approximately 12,000 miles. We had planned a post-retirement four-month trip for the summer of 2020. But my husband died on March 1, 2020, a week before COVID shut the world down. While the 19’ Flying Cloud is quite nimble due to its compact size, it is more than I want to handle on my own. So, I am selling it.

This Flying Cloud has spent its summer, when not on a trip, siting in the shade on our driveway in the Adirondack Mountains near Lake Placid, New York. Each winter it has stayed in indoor winter storage, including two years in heated winter storage. It has never been exposed to snow or salt. There have been no mishaps, so both the exterior and interior are in excellent condition. Once we had a flat tire, which was replaced without issue.

Recent service (May 2021) by an authorized Airstream dealer in Burlington, Vermont, included summerization and installation of new batteries. Summerization tests confirmed proper operation of all appliances, heating element, water system, air conditioner, and solar panels. A pressure test found no leaks. All service records are available to review.
