Meet Leeloo. Our perfect companion for the last 7 years. If you’re familiar with the movie “Fifth Element” you’ll understand the name. We bought her new as an entry to retirement and have loved every minute of camping with her. Due to an unforeseen and physically limiting medical issue we must sell our Lovely Leeloo. She has 17,500 miles and has been all over the West and mid-West. She housed us for 3 months when we set out to find a new city for retirement.

Due to two different sleeping needs (one of us is always cold and the other is not), handy engineer hubby modified the sleeping cabin from a perpendicular queen to parallel twins. We purchased custom corner Airstream twin mattresses and sheets for this modification. Mattresses are super comfortable and accommodate a 6’2″ man quite comfortably. We love the new configuration because we can lay in our beds with pillows on either end and enjoy the campsite instead of our neighbors. This configuration also gives the appearance of a lot more room since your eye goes to the back of the trailer rather than the side of a bed.

This new configuration resulted in loads of storage under one of the beds. We purchased soft woven baskets which can be used for bedding, linen, shoes and clothes and are included in the sale. Also included is a twin cotton quilt for each bed. I’ll update this listing with a photo of storage shortly.

We also removed one banquette cushion and installed a tall toolbox to handle overflow kitchen gadgets and small bits without having to bend down to the storage under the seating area. We were planning to have a local woodworker custom build a sexier cabinet but life got in the way.

The trailer has been kept indoors here in the Northwest for the past 3 years. Prior to that it was under cover in Tucson and 2 years in Northern California. We have no pets or children and the trailer has always been completely smoke free.

As a result of our particular needs and wants, the following is a list of replaced and additional equipment:

1. New tires (2021. 3000 miles). Goodyears best and higher speed rating than the originals. Like new.
2. New toilet with upgraded freeze proof water control valve
3. New shower control valve
4. New fresh water pump, inlet pressure regulator and fittings.
5. Upgraded pex fittings on fresh water system (to correct airstream workmanship problems)
6. New 12v lead acid batteries.
7. New 100 W flexible solar panels (2: 2019)
8. New propane bottle distribution hoses
9. Tire pressure remote monitoring including in cab digital output panel with alarms)
10. Backup camera
11. New custom airstream twin mattresses (left and right)
12. 12 vdc Air compressor and extended electrical cables for easy inflation.
13. All sewage hoses, fittings, wheel chocks and jack blocks.
14. Portable Propane bbq
15. Simplified entertainment system with multi-input switch for various video inputs.
16. All electrical cables and adapters to allow use of either 30 or 50 amp services at all RV parks.
17. Removed one banquet cushion and installed a standing toolbox for extra storage. (See pictures)
18. Custom built shelving for storage cabinet in bedroom.

The power awning has been repaired as it collapsed in heavy rain 5 years ago due to operator error and too much fun the night before 😳. Works fine now. Additionally, and due to operator error, in 2018 the sewage tank was filled while being cleaned and suffered a minor buckling (over pressure) during our early use. Again, operator error, but there are no leaks or any problems as a result.

We live in Astoria and Leeloo is stored across the river in Washington (15 minute drive). All questions are welcome. We’d love to re-home Leeloo so she can hit the road again and create memories with someone else.
