2016 Airstream International Signature 28′ RBQ Christopher Deam Edition w/ MANY Premium Upgrades – Austin, TX

This is Alfred. He’s the best. I’m a film & television actor, and Alfred has been my on-set companion for the last 4 years (I’m the second owner). We’ve traveled coast to coast, and I’m going to miss him, but I need to downsize to a smaller trailer that fits my tow vehicle a little better (gave up my F150 for an Escalade).

28′ is the maximum length for many national parks and state campgrounds, and I’ve never had an issue getting a spot with this rig. If you are looking to go full-time, the 28′ is the PERFECT layout and size. TONS of storage (seriously, I don’t even use all of it).

This thing has been babied, but it is not without minor signs of use. There are a few tiny, barely noticeable (like smaller than a shirt button) dings on the rear exterior that predate my ownership. There is also a small ding on the side where someone (again, not me) left the deadbolt key in the lock when the door was opened.

All the awnings are 100% functional; however, the main Zipdee power awning has a ever so slightly bent crossbar due to being left open when an unexpected rainstorm came through (THAT was an oversight on my part). You wont need to replace it anytime soon…and you wont kick yourself when you make the same mistake.

I replaced the belt line last year (the shiny chrome band that runs around the airstream…that was almost $2k), but there are some small spots of oxidation near the belt line around the trailer from my time spent in Southern California. This is normal with these trailers, so you shouldn’t be too concerned with it…its been treated with Corrosion X, which is all you can do…but I mention it nonetheless. The roof was resealed last year before the solar panels went on, so you’re good there for a while on that.

Take a look at all the upgrades and you’ll see why this is the coach you want:

Electronic Upgrades (Easily ~$20k worth):
4x 200 Watt Solar Panels Roof-Mounted
2x 270Ah BattleBorn Gamechanger 3.0 LI Batteries (Go off grid for days)
3000w Victron Inverter & Touch Screen/Controller System…control with your phone!
Samsung ‘The Frame’ Smart TV w/ Sonos Play Bar & Sub woofer (under the couch).
Pepwave MAX BR1 Pro 5G Router
EasyTouch Wifi Thermostat…control the climate remotely with your phone!
Ring Security System and NEST Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detectors
New RV Propane Gas leak detector
XBox One Blueray player routed to an HDMI switch so you can play Xbox or watch movies on either TV (bedroom TV is the original Samsung). HDMI Switch also allows you to use the Main TV as a computer monitor, as I have installed a Mac Mini mount under the bench in front of it, there is also an Apple TV 4K mounted behind the screen. Samsung The Frame hub is mounted in the wheel well…pulling the cables for all of this took days…
Upgraded electrical outlets with USB 3 & USB-C port throughout
Google Home video doorbell (if you want it)

Coach Upgrades:
3″ Lift
New 5000lb Husky Tongue Jack w/ 2x Remotes
New Bathroom & Shower Vents Installed
Oven upgraded to a Contoure Microwave/Convection Oven
Power Stabilizers w/ Pads
Blue OX W/D System
Most (not all) of the ceiling lights have been retrofitted with LED bulbs and ‘amber’ gels to make the ceiling lighting closer to 3000k, but if you prefer the harsh 5000k ‘white’ light, the gels can be removed.
Brand New Goodyear Endurance Tires…including the spare (about a year old, less than 1500 miles on them…always covered with Airskirts.
License Plate Frame mounted Backup Camera (and accompanying tv screen for your tow vehicle)
New trailer brakes are less than a year old, less than 1500 miles.
Emergency Breakaway Module replaced less than a year ago.

Interior Upgrades/Notes
All chrome towel bars have been replaced with shiny new chrome ones (they have a tendency to oxidize over time).
All curtains have been recently dry cleaned (even though they looked ‘clean’…they were filthy…you should probably do this once a year if you’re full-time/travel a lot.
Queen Mattress is a couple years old and has an upgraded mattress pad on it…I guarantee it’ll be one of the best nights sleep of your life.
Every little ‘thing’ has been fixed/replaced…every fuse, the little tabs that go missing off the ocean breeze shades, the splines in the rock guards that come out over time, to every rivet to the lightbulb inside the fridge…
Floors are in excellent condition.
Brand new full-size ‘high boy’ toilet with bidet was installed this year…gamechanger LOL
Note: One of the dinette windows (the one closest to the door) does not have a screen currently installed. This is an easy fix, but I removed it to make it easy to pass things in/out of the coach when at the beach.
The AC blows icy cold. Hot water heater and heat pump nice and toasty.
This baby needs nothing!
Note: all of the pictures on the walls are mounted with double-sided mounting tape and will easily peel off…I’ve replaced a few over the years…so don’t worry about that.

Don’t even think about buying a COVID (2021-2025) Airstream…the build quality went downhill BIG TIME. Mine is built like a tank, and when I go to buy my next one, I’m looking at 2016-2020 models ONLY. The last great era before Airstream…well…sold out…THIS is the model you want. No issues with front end separation (look it up…it’s a problem with other models), no cabinets coming off the walls when you drive down the road. They just don’t make em like this anymore.

I am asking $85k. That assumes the trailer by itself is worth ~$75k right now, but you’ll get all the upgrades and you won’t have to wait weeks to get it all installed and ‘wonder’ if it’s going to hold up in the wild. You’ll also end up with a bunch of extras and bits and pieces. I have receipts for all the work mentioned, the owner’s manual, two sets of keys, hitch locks, etc etc.

Happy to accommodate FaceTime ‘tours’, show you every little thing, just reach out with best time. Cashiers Checks or ACH/Wires ONLY.

Montana title in hand ready to sign over. If you want to save money on sales tax, think about setting up a Montana LLC. It’s super easy to do.

Call/text me at 424-282-5220 if you like. -Chris
