Up for sale is “La tortue d’argent” (aka The Silver Turtle). She is an immaculately kept 2016 International Serenity 28 Rear Bed Queen. I am her second owner, her first owner was a close friend who’s husband happens to be the grandson of the Wally Bynums friend and official airstream photographer for several decades from the time the company was founded. We have a wealth of historical AS memorabilia that will go with the sale of the travel trailer.

Both the first owner as well as us, work in the private yacht industry, if you know anything about yachting, we are obsessive about keeping our vessels immaculate, as such, we have kept this beauty immaculate as well. She recently had a three camera, Furion wireless system installed with a backup camera/back facing camera, and blind spot marker cameras on each side with a 7″ screen for the Tow Vehicle.

She has had all of her lights upgraded to LED, her fans are upgraded to the rain sensing higher end models. She has a single AC unit which has been more than enough to keep us comfortable even in the 100+ degree heat of Florida this past summer. She just had her batteries replaced, is pre-wired for solar, with a solar exterior plug and comes with a “suitcase style’ dual panel solar set up. She has also been upgraded with the top of the line ($3000+ investment) tow equipment from ProPride 3p Hitch, the most advanced anti-sway trailering system on the market today. Feel free to google, you will not be disappointed.

She has had the bathroom sink upgraded to a ceramic standard size residential counter top sink, comes with a brand new Purple Mattress that has not been slept on, as well as all of the equipment needed to get out on the road immediately. Like every good airstream, she comes with a riveting tool as well as plenty of spare rivets of every needed length in the even of a popped rivet or the need to handle some diy repairs. She also comes with extra chrome colored rub rail which was recently replaced around the entire airstream and should be good for many years.

She currently has a vinyl die-cut sticker on her two sides as we have used her for work purposes, you are welcome to leave on, or it can be peeled off easily after leaving out in the sun for an hour or so, just like pulling a big sticker off but with no residue left behind. I think she actually turns heads even more with the decal on her than she did before because it is so unique.

Ultimately, with a teen in the home, we sadly just do not get enough use out of the Airstream that we had hoped, and have decided to let someone else enjoy this beautiful piece of Americana. When she is not with us, she is kept in a covered RV storage facility with 24 hour security, plugged in to keep her nice and cool, and keep the fridge and freezer cold and ready for her next adventure.
