We are saying goodbye to our beloved 16 ft Bambi. We have purchased a larger 25 ft Safari, after our grandkids kept up the pressure to join us on our excursions. This Bambi is perfect for a young or retired couple or a solo traveler. We have throughly enjoyed it.
Bambi has been in a climate controlled storage facility when not in use.
We have replaced all the tires in 2021. Also had the brakes replaced and the wheel bearings repacked. The roof is resealed. We have had zero issues with this airstream. It comes with all the airstream standard equipment and has roof solar panels for those who wish to boondock.
Although it has that airstream retro look, we are always asked if we restored a vintage one, it is packed with modern amenities, ie A/C, heater, wet bathroom/shower, refrigerator , microwave and 2 burner stove. At 3500 lbs it’s a dream to tow with a SUV.
