They winterized it and I have never added water to the Basecamp ever since. It has never been used in any way included the shower, toilet, fridge, furnace, AC or anything else. It has not been out of my garage since I purchased it. To say it is like new is an understatement – it is new and still smells new.

A new Basecamp 16 starts at $48,300. You can buy this new Basecamp for significantly less. By the time you get out the door from a dealership with a new Basecamp 16’ with solar on the roof and two Kelly tents designed specifically for the Basecamp and tax and dealer prep will be spending around $57k. This Basecamp is brand new and will save you well over $10k. The included Airstream Basecamp specific tents save you thousands, you will pay lower insurance, no dealer prep fees – this is all savings to you. There really is no difference between this Basecamp and a new unit other than minor cosmetic changes. This Basecamp has been indoors and not exposed to the sun or elements. It has never ever been used in any way. Not a scratch or flaw anywhere. The tents add a significant amount of living room. They take a 16’ trailer and give you a lot more weather protected living space.
