Oh how we have loved this Airstream…..the places it has shown us! We’re older now and have gone to a camper van. So, “Doc” is now for sale. He/she is “road ready” with all systems working. There are no dents, leaks, soft floors or other negatives for this camper.
We have made two changes to add to the comfort of the trailer: (1) We added an inside LP line and heater for those cold nights while boondocking. (2) The dinette was removed and comfortable chairs and a smaller table were substituted (see photo). Uncomfortable is now “comfortable”. The queen bed is at the front of the camper and, wonderfully, has space at the sides to get in/out. The couch folds out, so the Airstream will sleep four people.
We have pulled the trailer with an F-150 and that has worked well, though we haven’t raced over mountains. All needed tools will stay with the trailer, as well as the weight distribution hitch for your tow vehicle. The Airstream is located in the Central Missouri hills.
