Ownership History: This Airstream Trailer was purchased on 2/16/18 from Universal Marine and RV in Rochester, MN. It was my understanding that the trailer was owned for only a short time by a physician. He had decided that this trailer did not fit the size or needs of his family. My wife and I have owned the trailer ever since and have put very few road miles on it. I believe the trailer to have less than 5000 miles on it at this time.

Why did you select this model?: It is just my wife and I and we thought it would be a very good size for the two of us to take on fishing trips. We were living in Loveland, CO at the time and took it to Steamboat Springs, the Gunnison area and to camp sites in Nebraska and Wyoming.

Why are you selling?: As my wife and I have aged, we have decided that pulling a trailer has put more of a demand on us physically than we desired and we both have health issues that make camping harder and harder to do.

Exterior Condition Description:: The exterior is in good shape. There is one small crease on the curb side rear panel. I did have a broken window on the curb side, side window that was replaced. This was the result of a rock thrown from a lawn mower.

Hail Damage?: There is some slight hail damage to the top and is only visible when looking at the top front of the trailer.

Aluminum Body Panels:: All original.

Filaform Damage?: No filaform damage.

Roof Vents and Skylights: : Both roof vents are in good shape and both have “MagicFans” in them and they are powered.

Exterior Hatch Covers and Locks:: All exterior hatch covers and locks are functional and have keys.

Windows, Seals and Operators: : All window seals are in good condition and all operators are functional.

Entrance Door: : The Entrance Door is in good shape and the latch is operational with three sets of keys.

Awnings – Location and Condition:: There is only one awning on this model of Flying Cloud and it is in good working order. It is not an automatic awning, but goes out easily and has no signs of wear or stress points. Its color is silver and black.

Front A-Frame Condition:: No Rust or damage.

Rear Bumper / Exposed Frame Condition:: The rear bumper is in good shape and has no rust and is structurally strong enough to stand on if desired.

Frame Condition:: Frame is structurally sound with no signs of rust, weakness or separation.

Sub Floor:: The sub-floor is in good condition.

Belly Pan: : The Belly Pan is original and is intact with no loose sections, holes or gaps that I am aware of at this time.

Interior Layout and Condition:: The interior is like new. Since it has been only my wife and I who have used this trailer, it shows no signs of wear. The interior is a front bedroom with a queen bed, a rear bathroom with shower, circular sink and toilet. The kitchen is like new with a stainless steel double sink, work surface, three burner stove and oven, microwave and Dometic Gas/Electric Refrigerator. The dining area is a three sided booth arrangement that is in the mid-section, curb-side of the trailer. There are two closets and two large drawers for clothes. The storage areas above the sink, dinette and bed all have spring loaded doors with ample space for linens, dishes and cooking equipment. We have always had a ten foot runner rug on the floor to protect the flooring. The interior color is Light Blonde on the cushions, cabinets and doors.

Dinette Style and Location:: The dinette is a mid-section booth with a rotational drop down table with a formica top.

Bathroom Location and Style:: The bathroom is in the rear with separate shower. The fixtures are five years old and are in good shape and function very well.

Sleeping Areas?: The total sleeping area is for four. The bedroom is in the front and has an upgraded queen size firm mattress that is five years old.
Mattress and Sleeping Surfaces:: The mattress is an upgraded queen size that has a firm comfort level.

Interior Soft Surfaces: – Cushions / Fabrics / Upholstery:: Interior soft surfaces are original, they show no wear or tear marks. Cushions are like new and are made of “Ultra Leather”.

Curtains and Blinds: : The curtains and blinds are original and and are spring loaded rail shades made by “Ocean Air”. They pull down and are all in good condition. They have a silver anodized finish with 100% Black Out Finish and 80% heat reflection.

Interior Walls: : The Interior Walls are original with no damage or repairs.

Cabinets, Doors and Counters: : All Cabinet Boxes and Doors are like new with no damage or repairs. They are made of 13 and 18 mm Lite Ply material fastened with screws instead of stapes. The counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom are in good condition with no cut marks, chips or mars. The surface is solid, non-porous thermal formed that is pressed into a seamless one piece design.

Floor Coverings:: The floor covering is original “TransCore” composite formed from water proof, inert recycled glass and poly propylene. It is light tan/blonde in color.
Stove and Oven:: The stove is a propane three burner stove with lower oven location. It has a Range Hood, Light, Vent and Butcher Block Cutting Board.

Refrigerator:: The refrigerator is a Dometic Electric/Gas with 5 cubic Ft capacity

Furnace / Space Heater:: The furnace and A/C is 13,500 BTU Heat Pump Electric Controls

Other Appliances:: The trailer has an Electric Microwave, comes with a Backup Camera, side mirrors for the tow vehicle and an outside shower faucet.

Plumbing – Water Lines, Water Pump:: The plumbing is original with a new water pump and a spare. There are no leaks past or present and no issues in the water system.

Hot Water Heater:: It has a Electric/Propane water heater with a 6 gallon tank. The water heater is original and has been flushed every fall during the winterization process.

Sinks and Taps: : The trailer has the original square stainless steel kitchen sinks with no leaks or issues. The sink has a multi-directional 360 degree rotatable sprayer.

Toilet:: The toilet is oval shaped with foot flush control. It has no leaks or issues.

Water Leaks? Water Damage? Mold or Mildew:: There have been no water leaks or damage, mold or mildew issues.

Fresh Water Tank:: The fresh water tank is original. It has a 39 gallon capacity.

Gray Water Tank: The grey water tank is original and it has a 30 gallon capacity.

Black Water Tank:: The black water tank is original and has an 18 gallon capacity.

Exterior Water and Sewer Connections:: All water hookup and hose connections are original and all are in good working condition. The sewer connection and valves are all original and have no issues.

Air Conditioner:: The trailer has a QuietStream ducted A/C system with multiple vents across the ceiling with return vents making the system very quiet. It is 13,500 BTU.

Electrical Service:: The electric service is 30 Amp original with one connection point.

Solar / Batteries / Inverter / Converter:: The trailer does not have solar, but is wired for roof mounted solar panels, if desired. The inverter is original. There are two batteries that have functioned well for internal lighting and the electric jack. I am not sure of the age, but conditions seems good.

Sound System / WiFi / Connectivity:: The sound system is the original factory Clarion sound system.

Any additional owner comments?: This 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud FB23 has seen very little use in its lifetime. I personally feel that it is an easy trailer to tow and it has less than 5000 road miles on it. It is perfect for two people, all equipment is in good working order and I would not hesitate to pull this unit across country, if desired. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed this trailer and have taken great pride in owning it. We have taken good care of it and feel that it is extremely road worthy. As with life, our direction has now taken a turn and we need to pause our adventures in camping. It has been a great experience for us and to own an Airstream is something that we have always wanted to do. We hope that the new owners will appreciate it as much as we have and that they truly enjoy their Airstream experience as much as we did.
