Ownership History: Prior to my purchase in September of 2021 from Airstream Dealer Out-of-Doors Mart (now Blue Compass RV in Colfax, North Carolina) the trailer was owned for 2 years, having been purchased new in 2019. The trailer is parked at our residence and connected to shore power when not traveling.

Why did you select this model?: It was perfect for our transition from backpacking and car camping, providing us with a bathroom, galley with food storage, and comfortable sleeping facilities in a manageable trailer size that did not require a large tow vehicle.

Why are you selling?: Unfortunately a couple of concerning health conditions have recently been diagnosed which are curtailing our ability to travel and manage trailer operation and maintenance.

Exterior Condition Description:: Overall excellent-trailer has been maintained to Airstream recommendations. All recalls have been addressed. All documentation of maintenance and upgrades since we have owned the trailer can/will be provided. All trailer equipment is functional. There is one non-critical item that can be addressed at the new owner’s discretion – there is a one inch crack in the top of the composite propane cover at the piano hinge that was there when we bought the trailer. The only issue we have had necessitating dealer repair were the re-caulking of 4 or 5 screws under the keder rail which were allowing a small leak in the rear interior roof area. There have been no further leak issues.

Windows, Seals and Operators: : No window issues

Entrance Door: : Recall for door glass flying off the trailer while being towed was never an issue and the Airstream recall was addressed by the dealer.

Awnings – Location and Condition:: The unit will be sold with both the optional side door Airstream visor as well as an aftermarket Moon Shade 6′ x 9′ manual awning that has the mounting h/w in place to immediately deploy the awning for the curbside position over the door when parked. With additional hardware the awning is also able to be deployed in the street side location.

Front A-Frame Condition:: No damage. A little surface rust where trailer coupler and safety chains interact with the trailer ball & hitch.

Rear Bumper / Exposed Frame Condition:: None

Frame Condition:: Like new – never towed by us in winter conditions and no rust visible

Sub Floor:: No soft spots or any other indication of water damage

Belly Pan: : Original and intact

Interior Layout and Condition:: One v-berth sleeping area in the rear of the trailer that doubles as a medium size two-table dinette that easily seats 4 people when the mattress is stowed. Forward of the berthing/seating area and shower is a galley with a sink, two burner propane stove, propane/electric fridge, storage cupboards and food prep counter area. All appliances are as new.

Dinette Style and Location:: In rear half of trailer – 2 small dinette tables with 4 aluminum posts that function as either posts for the dinette tables or supports for the bed. Posts and tables store when not in use.

Bathroom Location and Style:: Wet bath located on street side between dinette/sleeping area and galley. Shower and porcelain toilet with locking hatch to outside to allow for shower to be used outside of the trailer. Shower works as new with no leaks. Shower has optional teak bath mat.

Smoking? : No

Pets? : One 6 year old medium size short haired dog that accompanied us approximately half the time. No pet smells or physical dog damage.

Sleeping Areas?: Sleeping for two people (comfortably) in the single berth area in the rear half of the trailer. When stowed this becomes the dinette area. Sleeps two people comfortably utilizing the dinette cushions. Berth area is roughly the rear half of the trailer and includes a storage area under the curb side dinette bench.

Mattress and Sleeping Surfaces:: Sleeping surface consists of 3″ seat cushions supplemented by the optional Airstream custom Basecamp 16 memory foam mattress with washable cotton cover.

Interior Soft Surfaces: – Cushions / Fabrics / Upholstery:: Cushions / Fabrics / Upholstery Original Spradling stain resistant convertible cushions with no tears.

Curtains and Blinds: : Original blackout curtains at each of the 5 larger windows. All are functional. The trailer door has an accordion window shade that is easily lowered or raised for privacy.

Interior Walls: : Original aluminum – no damage All original with no repairs or damage

Cabinets, Doors and Counters: : The two (galley) storage cabinets are like new with no damage. They include motion sensor LED lights for illuminating those spaces at night or in low light.

Floor Coverings:: Seamless textured vinyl flooring with no scrapes, staims or other surface blemishes.

Stove and Oven:: Two burner propane gas stove with integrated glass cover.

Refrigerator:: Dometic model RM-2351 dual power (electric/propane) fridge with 3 cubic foot capacity. Any additional owner comments?: another portable panel w/ controller also included – basecamp with solar option – this 80 watt suitcase included with the sale – minor issues – on the basecamp have the black plastic battery cover with the tray to hold electrical – has a piano hinge across the top – left side of that hinge there’s a small crack – easy repair – one more thing – blackout screens that zip up – they are secured by adheasive to the windows – that adhesive fails pretty easily – ours are loose but not failed. We are willing to travel a few hours to help deliver.
