During COVID, Airstream laid off more than half of their experienced crew in the factory, and many of them moved on to other work (https://tinyurl.com/2u64zbh8). What followed was years of quality problems. The 25 foot length of this model is long enough to have the safety margin of dual axles, while still being small enough to fit into older national and state park campgrounds designed for small rigs. You can fit a small rig into a larger spot, but not vice versa. The smaller your rig, the larger the universe of spots you can compete for when booking reservations. This is a 50 Amp unit with dual heat pump AC units. Camp in the desert in the middle of summer–plenty of cooling power.
