The AS Sport trailer is pristine and in LIKE NEW condition with one full season towing, approximately 6500 miles. Stored in covered space and meticulously cared for with several upgrades installed; rock guards, new Boondocker power distribution center, and brand new Duracell 12V AGM battery. So to answer the big question as to why are we selling…its mostly about trailer towing and convenience. My midsize Nissan Frontier 4.0 liter pickup does a better than average job pulling but over long hauls the cramped cab conditions make 400-500 mile driving days unpleasant to say the least and would be much less an issue if I was 20 years younger, I turn 67 in November. I bought the Airstream Sport specifically to marry up with the Nissan Frontier’s towing capacity since I own the TV outright and at the time buying a new, bigger truck was not in the budget. We chose this Airstream for it’s small footprint, it makes backing up in tight spaces, tow control, boondocking, parking/storage, and general maintenance a much simpler proposition. All this being said we’re simply upgrading to a Class C RV for comfort and convenience, nothing more and nothing less.
