Wake up with a panoramic view of wherever your heart desires, without even getting out of bed. Whether it’s a trip to Cannon Beach to enjoy a coastal rainstorm in the Fall, or it’s heading to Lake Chelan for some sip and sun in the Summer, this Airstream Caravel is the perfect size for a luxury getaway. When you choose to take a vacation in an Airstream, you are investing in your wellness. As a fully insulated capsule, you will sleep deep and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day (especially with the brand-new premium mattress and Froli system that was recently installed)! We truly believe that every person deserves to sleep in an Airstream, at least once in their lifetime! So why make excuses?

Please allow me to provide a little more info…

First, let’s be completely honest. Even an Airstream in all of its pride and glory is still an earthquake on wheels. This means that whether it was used once, or used 1,000 times, each time there is movement, there is literally going to be shifting that occurs. This is why a lot of times when people fall for the “used only a few times” method of selling, they often times inherit a lot of issues that the prior owner likely didn’t know about, most of which are well out of warranty leaving costly repairs for the new owner.

As you can tell from the photos, this Caravel has a lot of badges of honor. We are proud of it, but it’s taken a lot of work to get it PERFECTLY dialed in!

Before I go too much further, let’s talk about what’s included (Upgrades, etc.):

-Original Bedspread & Accent Pillows
-Original Manual Bag with all Manuals
-OEM Monitor for the Rear View Camera
-2 Sets of keys
-Upgraded Propane Tanks from 2 x 20lb tanks to 2 x 30lb tanks with taller cover
-Lithium Compatible Converter
-90-Watt Solar Panel on Roof
-2 x Heavy Duty Padlocks on each side of Battery for theft deterrent
-2″ Torklift Receiver Bolted on the rear under bumper for discreet appearance. Can hold 350lbs!
-Main Awning, Side and Rear Partial Awning (Trust me, you want these!)
-Smoke Max Air Vent Cover
-Custom Cut Edison Lights with custom cut extension cords to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance
-Upgraded Mattress
-Froli System
-Mattress Protector
-Snap Pads on Stabilizer Jacks
-TWO 30AMP 30′ Power Cords (with Adaptor to 110V)

We purchased the Caravel in July of 2022. We are 2nd owners. We also purchased a 7-year warranty on mechanical items at this time. Thankfully we did, because we have already used about $4,000 of it, which has allowed us to get a lot of items fixed! The benefit for you? You’re getting a dialed in trailer that is ready for your camping adventures! Unfortunately the warranty does not come with it as we applied the balance to our new Airstreams extended warranty. But the dealer is providing a 1 year certified pre-owned warranty! (To paint a picture, even new units only come with a 1-year mechanical warranty, so you can have peace of mind on all of your adventures!

What have we had addressed?
-TV Mount was replaced and reinforced with bolts through the wall and sealed in shower area (You could swing off of this thing it’s so strong)
-Toilet Pedal and ball (to open and close toilet hole) was replaced last summer
-Water Heater Board was replaced and serviced on 1/20/24
-New Moen Faucet was installed and upgraded on 1/20/24
-Furnace Received a service and adjustment to eliminate an annoying clicking noise 1/20/24
-Fantastic fan was cleaned and that eliminated an annoying clicking noise 1/20/24
-Fresh Water Tank Sensors were resecured as they weren’t reading correctly 1/20/24
-Dining Table received an adjustment as it was loose from brackets 1/20/24
-Door Was Adjusted and seal was replaced to prevent cold air from coming in 1/20/24
-Screen Door also had an adjustment and the spring latch was replaced and re-riveted 1/20/24
-Deadbolt received an adjustment for easier latching and the brackets for doors were lubed up 1/20/24
-Wheels were replaced as part of deal when we first purchased and still are healthy and have a lot of tread. We have TPMS monitors we’d be removing that are specific to our new GMC.
-Safety Inspection was also completed (Propane Leak detection, tire pressure, wheel torque, C02 batts, etc) 1/20/24

Last but not least, it was one of the last Airstreams to roll of the old factory line before Airstream switched to their new factory during the pandemic (Late 2019). It is as solid as a rock! Yes, it has plywood floors, but there are no soft spots in this coach and there are zero leaks.

We are purchasing a NEW 28′ Airstream as I commute for work and will be using the new Airstream to live out of while I’m out of town.

This is the year of the “single axle”. Most dealerships are almost out of them, and Airstream has announced they have reduced production.

I know the dealer will be selling this for less than I was asking. I believe they will be also doing a pre-delivery inspection, full detail (inside and out), and they’ll provide you with training on how to use everything (2-3 hours).
