Price Reduced on this Airstream Globetrotter 27′ FBQ is in excellent condition, and only towed less than 6,500 miles. Our routine is to tow to either AZ or AL and then park it for the next few months before taking it home and parking it in an enclosed garage. The gorgeous interior color decor is Dark Walnut and Copenhagen Cream. As you know there are very few options when buying an Airstream, but we had the dealer add the Cilajet sealer on the exterior, the Tyron tire kit, and install the BlueOx leveling/anti-sway tow system (included). We also bought an extended Warranty at time of purchase which is transferrable for a $50 fee.
– Extended Warranty: Purchased from dealer on 7/21/21, 6 year warranty expires 7/21/27, cost = $3,287. It’s by Portfolio One, and is a Plan 1E: Exclusionary, with a Standard Deductible of $200.
– Tyron tire kit. Cost = $2245. This goes inside the wheel and keeps the tire from moving away from the rim during a blowout or loss of pressure. Keeping the rim from contacting the roadway helps you maintain control of the vehicle, and allows you to drive a short distance to a safe place to pull off the highway.
– Cilajet sealer on exterior. Cost = $2308
– BlueOx 1000 leveling/anti-sway hitch system included. Cost = $825. Rated for 1,000 Lb tongue weight, the trailer maximum is 871 Lbs.

We have really enjoyed our time in this Airstream, but have been surprised by the length of our trips, usually about 5 months. So, we’ve come to realize that we’d like just a little bit more space and plan to move to a 30′ model. We have had just a couple of issues. The first was a tiny chip in the mirror that turned into a full crack, and of course, Airstream covered that under warranty. The second was during the winter of 2023-2304 in Alabama where it rains a LOT! We developed a very slow drip from the ceiling just over the edge of the bed that only occurred in very heavy downpours. We had an RV service guy come out and put some sealant on the roof, and that seemed to fix it. As you know, any roof leak can be very hard to find the source but in subsequent rains, there was no leak. When we thoroughly washed the trailer that summer, there was no problem.
