The Airstream Globetrotter 27FB Travel Trailer is a thoroughly and thoughtfully modern trailer with uncompromising detail. By opting for the twin bed configuration, the center aisle is completely opened up — creating more physical moving space throughout the interior. Twin beds also create the illusion that the floor plan looks much longer. With a few pillows and blankets, the separate beds can also function as day beds or lounges while watching TV or enjoying a book. Wondering if you might be too tall for the 75” queen bed? With the twin mattress measuring 5” longer than the queen, it may be a great option for you or other campers.

WHY 27FEET – AND WHY TWIN FORWARD BERTHS?
The Globetrotter 27 Forward twin is the Best Airstream in the Airstream line. The 27 FBT is Airstream’s just perfect size and layout for good reason:
* 27 feet is large enough to provide a couple comfort for extended touring,
* The forward Berthing Compartment layout puts the Main Cabin aft with its Vista View panoramic windows available for the best daytime scenic viewing experience.
* The twin berth arrangement keeps the floor plan visually open for the entire length of the interior and significantly contributes to the spaciousness of the floorplan.
* The Globetrotter models are Airstream’s top of the line with their highest level of quality equipment, finishes & fabrics.

THE MODEL YEAR 2022 IS AN AIRSTREAM INFLECTION POINT
* The plywood decks previously installed in Airstreams which were suseptible to rot were replaced by a waterproof synthetic flooring material called TransCore – which is also a stronger deck.
* All-Electric Refrigeration replaced the old Propane refrigeration systems. These modern Danfoss condensing units are much superior refrigeration units: they pull the box temperature down quicker; have a more even and coldet box temperature; the units are not effected by the angle of operation; and there is no open flame associated with all-electric refrigeration.

BIRDIE’S JOURNEY
We certainly have been blessed to own BIRDIE, and give her a good start in what hopefully will be many years of enjoyment for multiple generations of American campers. In our three and a half years of ownership we have towed her about 8,000 miles and camped at 30 different campsites all across North America. She has taken us to places where we have revelled in the grandeur of some of the most diverse and beautiful sights our country has to offer: From the meandering Rio Grande in Texas’ Big Bend NP; to the ragged granite peaks at the top of the Continent in Montana’s Glacier NP; to the brilliant sands of Anna Maria Island of FL. – our National Parks and Seashores are truly “America’s Best Idea” and a wonderful economical place to visit – if you can get reservations. We have been so privileged to travel in this great Airstream, and now it is time for us to find BIRDIE new owners as we move forward in our next chapter.

MODIFICATIONS & IMPROVEMENTS
* Sufficient electrical power to support the all-electric Refrigeration System. We replaced the 2 AGM batteries with 2 Battleborn 100Ah batteries.
* Upgraded to 2 A/C system and a furnace
* Installed 2 Soft Starts to reduce the spike in electrical demand on A/C startups.
* Installed a DC-DC Victron charger, with an app to monitor the batteries.
* Replaced inverter with a 2000 watt inverter for Lithium Batteries.
* Installed a NOLOXSOLUTIONS Door Kit on the entrance door to prevent the inconveience of lock-out or lock-in.
* Have a NOLOXSOLUTIONS step brace/locker to make the steps more stable.
* Installed NOLOXSOLUTIONS thumb screw kit on the intake air vents. Makes cleaning the filters a lot easier.
* The dinette table sections were replaced by The Mothership Airstream, with a single table top, and stabilized, strengthened, and replaced with one strong base. NO WOBBLE. (We have the “old” table top pieces to use for building out the lounge area)
* Mothership installed Push Springs for curbside awning to “pop out” easier.
* The twin bed foundations were extended over 4 inches to provide support for the full width of the mattresses, by Nomad Custom Crafts.
* Upgraded the lounge TV to a 32” from the original 28”
* Non-Smoking Rig
* Rig was brought to the Mothership in 2024 for a checkup and fix a few small warranty items, and then again in March 2025.
* Rockguards that attach to the hitch to protect the Airstream
* Blue Ox Weight Distribution and stabilizer hitch 2 1/2”
* Gas fire pit converted to attach to the low pressure LP port on the Airstream
* Blackstone grill converted to attach to the low pressure port on the Airstream
* and lots of extras like Anderson levelers, blocks, cables, cords, and pretty much everything you need to go camping.

A UNIQUE RIG
4 BRAND NEW GOODYEAR ENDURANCE tires bought and replaced in October 2025.
This rig is fully equipped with everything you need to go camping – SPARES, SPECIAL TOOLS, TOOLS, DOCUMENTATION, CAMPING GEAR and some basic household items to get you started are included in the purchase price.

We hold a clear title on BIRDIE. And have several VIN search reports that I can share as well showing NO PROBLEMS OR ACCIDENTS, etc.
