Attention adventure seekers and dry camping thrillers. This 2023, Basecamp 20x is truly designed for the get up and go. Small enough to make RV traveling easy, but big enough for a family of 4 with a dog! We are selling our beloved iconic Airstream Basecamp 20x. We have used this gem 7 lucky times in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee California area. We absolutely love her, however we are moving and unable to bring her with us on our new adventure!

She is equipped with some very special rugged features…

A 26 x 46 rear entrance allows you to bring your favorite gear like kayaks, bikes, or even paddle boards along for the ride. Unbelievable cargo storage along the ceilings, back bench cushions, kitchenette area, cabinets, and even under the dinette table allowing you to bring all your necessities plus some! There are 2 pop up charging stations. 110v outlets so you can charge all your devices. A large kitchenette area with an incredible sink that doubles as a cutting board and a two burner gas cooktop. There is a microwave available for use if connected to shore power with options to take it out for more storage. A Refrigerator/freezer that is big enough to feed a family of 4 on a week long adventure. Conveniently equipped with storage spaces directly under the refrigerator for dishes, groceries, and more. The main entrance features a sliding screen and rear entrance has a removable roll down screen perfect to keep the bugs out all while enjoying the fresh air. The U-shape dinette allows for easy access while eating. Swiveling completely around or easily converting into a large sleeping area. The basecamp was designed for people who love to adventure so we loved that the seating is covered in antibacterial, mildew-resistant, stain-resistant for lasting durability. It is incredibly easy to tow. Lightweight by design makes it easy for first time camping lovers.

A couple of features we absolutely loved about our basecamp were the panoramic windows, the durable-awesome solar panels (we never needed shore power), easy to tow and fit into even the tightest spots, the options for sleeping, tankless on demand water heater for the shower and new composite (2023 and later models) waterproof flooring. She is the Glacier Lake design beautiful blue matching our gorgeous Lake Tahoe. We added a couple of key features/upgrades ($5k) that made camping so seamless for our family. The fantastic all weather Vent, 200ah Lithium batteries, and a Smart Shunt Vitron connection.

The solar power is the new robust Merlin 100 watt flexible panels (300 watts) that fit flush on the roof of the basecamp. It is so awesome holding down exceptional off grid power. There are so many customizations you can make to the basecamp models, but since having her for a little over a year we hadn’t got to that yet so she is how you would pick her up from the airstream lot except with the awesome upgrades to make her even more off grid. We’ve had her serviced and winterized at the Bay Area Airstream located in Fairfield, California and always stored covered when not in use. We purchased her for $62,000 plus the $5,000 upgrades. She’s close to exceptional shape which is why we are listing her at the $57,000 (now $50,000).
